新中国成立后，1952年至1966年，李锡铭同志历任北京市石景山发电厂党总支副书记、代书记，石景山发电厂党委书记。他以厂为家，致力于工厂的建设和发展，想方设法提高电力产能，使石景山发电厂成为全国电力行业的重要标杆企业。“文化大革命”期间，他一度受到冲击和迫害，但共产主义信念毫不动摇，对林彪、“四人帮”2个反革命集团进行了坚决抵制。1970年4月，他回到石景山发电厂生产组协助工作，其后历任厂革委会副主任、党委副书记，党委书记、革委会主任，积极带领广大干部职工恢复生产，保持了生产和职工队伍的稳定，得到干部职工的拥护。

It's been announced (and backed up with tech demos) that it's developing AMOLED NXTPAPER displays, aiming to combine the eye comfort benefits of TCL's current displays with flagship visual performance.
